The herring gull is often considered a nuisance. It nests on rooftops and can be extremely noisy. Has been in decline in Europe but can be found almost anywhere inland or by water. So wherever you are watch out otherwise you may lose your icecream or sandwiches.

Originally from London's East End I now live in Hillingdon West London. Many years ago I had a home darkroom where I developed, and printed, both colour and black and white films. However, the costs of the materials, plus a house move, meant I was no longer able to process my own images. I still used my trusty Nikon F2 as often as I could but again costs meant I restricted myself to the amount of photographs I could take.
