Originally from London's East End I now live in Hillingdon West London. Many years ago I had a home darkroom where I developed, and printed, both colour and black and white films. However, the costs of the materials, plus a house move, meant I was no longer able to process my own images. I still used my trusty Nikon F2 as often as I could but again costs meant I restricted myself to the amount of photographs I could take. Since the introduction of digital photography and the digital darkroom, which coincided with me owning my first PC, I have had a number of compact digital cameras and was able to start to enjoy photography again. Totally beautiful. I was just able to get really close to one of these the other day and I gasp to see the pattern of the feathers on their back. I did not realize that they were that beautiful.
